In July 2018, Gregor McGuckin, an Irish sailor and adventurer, will represent Ireland as he takes part in the Golden Globe Race. This is a race steeped in history that celebrates 50 years since the first person did what everyone thought was impossible; sailing solo, non-stop around the world.
In preparation for this race, Gregor required a brand that would help him stand out from the competition. Moving away from the typical 'green-blue' colour palette that is typically seen in this industry, I opted for a strong colour palette that echoes the neon orange of life rings and sailing equipment that are typically seen on boats.
The brand roll out included logo, stationery suite, branded clothing, illustrations, website and numerous sponsorship pitch documents.
