Bloom is a place to connect you more deeply to your truest self, to help you Bloom into your fullest potential. It is guided by the work of Lucybloom Webb, a Yoga teacher specialising in embodiment, healing and inner growth. Her work is influenced by ancient knowledge and esoteric wisdom, working with the Tarot, Pagan ritual and reiki.

 

Task:

Lucy’s business primarily lives on social media and therefore needed a consistent and flexible look to cover all aspects of her brand. The new brand needed to reflect the scope of work that Lucy practices as well as creating an ownable look.

Approach:

Lucy’s work brings ancient teachings into the modern day. Using the balance of old and new, the new brand identity is centered around old typography and illustration techniques depicted in a modern way. Visuals are both dark and light and typography feels old but new.

Naming, Brand Identity, Social Media Presence, Editorial Design

We worked with illustrator Niamh Langton to create a series of visuals to represent the different offerings from Lucy. The illustrations were inspired by old etching techniques and incorporated multiple symbolic and meaningful elements.

The social media look was influenced by Tarot art, specifically that of Pamela Coleman Smith. Borders, etched illustration and symbolism are used across most imagery and always paired with modern typography.

Beyond the Asana

A guide book for those exploring the subtle energies within a Yoga practice. This training course moves beyond the asana, beyond the physical, to the subtle energies which govern our entire existence.
