Welcome to the secret garden.

One Kinda Folk is a cafe with 2 locations based in Dublin. The cafe serves 3Fe coffee, bakes and makes all its own food and has become a staple in the Dublin 6 area. Its neutral palette, dozens of plants and relaxed atmosphere has garnered it a cult following.

Task:

As OKF was expanding into a second location, the business needed a cohesive look and feel across all its touch points. From in-store signage to cups and loyalty cards etc.

Approach:

The owner of the cafe was influenced by time living in Australia and wanted to incorporate that warm, laid back aesthetic into the brand. the new look and feel centres around a warm and neutral palette accented with sharp typography and playful illustration.

Nicky, the cafes mascot, makes a very important appearance.

Scope:

Brand identity, Art Direction, Signage.

On a cold, but bright spring day we photographed the space with Bigstyle Media House, aiming to create a warm and inviting feeling through the imagery.
